JOURNEY OF X

Over the past 5 years, the prestigious sculptor F. Harrison has been travelling the world, with his precise and meticulous site interventions relentlessly setting new standards in contemporary sculpture practice.
You never know when and where his next tremendous piece of art will appear as well as noone actually knows what he looks like, because the artist himself is never seen. Journalists have tried to get in touch for interviews - it's hard. He doesn't seem to check his mail while travelling or is simply acting out of denial.
Due to the F.H.-hype in the media and so as to avoid stalking by Feuilletonists he also changes his name, age and gender on a regular basis. (* past identities known by now are noted later on).

He is still on his trip and probably will be for the next five years or longer.

Recently, journalists have raised the question whether there also might be hints about circumstances concerning authorship or networking, since the artist never shows up.
The point is, however: we might never find out.

Harrison's work spans the entire range of contemporary reflection. His work is expressive, pervasive, transformative, profound and simply convincing as well as highly referential in both form and content towards content and form, possessing a unique style of transcendency you can already see from far distance, even out of the aeroplane.

Harrisons work has been featured in numerous, superbly well-perceived solo-shows at places like Paris, Barcelona, Basel, Perth, Bali, New York, Christchurch, Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Madrid, Porto, Celle, Toronto, Tortuguero, Chisinau, Frontignan, Sête, Nice, Montreal, Guelph, New Brighton, Freiburg, Bremen, Worpswede and the more.
